Overview

The walk starts from Lon Maes Du, just off Vaynor Road. We walk along the Taff Fechan river, then up to Morlais Quarry and the castle remains for morning break, before continuing on to lunch above Pontsticill reservoir. We will then return along the opposite side of the Taff Fechan. There are some rocky uneven paths.
