Overview

From the reservoir we will head to the Cambrian Way via a trig pillar at Cwar yr Ystrad.  Following the Cambrian Way we pass another trig pillar at Pant-yr-Creigiau.  Our return is along a wide forestry track near the Pentwyn (Dol-y-gaer) reservoir.

There is some open moorland with no clear tracks
