This walk has been cancelled

Water levels too high for the river crossing and very slippery due to the excessive, non-stop rain. Postponed for another time.

Overview

A strenuous but rewarding walk of the North area of Cardiff.  We will start promptly at 10am from Cefn Onn Park and climb the ridge and then work our way to and up Caerphilly mountain for a fabulous view.  There are also many hills spread throughout the walk.  The scenery is varied, walking through fields and several woods. Mixed terrain also and one small river crossing.  Very likely to be muddy in several places.
