From the car park behind the Greyhound pub in Chalfont St Peter we walk up through the village, across Gold Hill before heading out to Jordans with its Quaker House and quaint village centre. We carry on to Seer Green before returning to the east side of Jordans and the descent back into Chalfont St Peter.
A little under 6 miles, the walk has two minor ascents, first out of CSP and the second into Seer Green. The rest of the walk is quite level. Just the one stile to negotiate.
Our route goes around farm yards, across fields (some may hold grazing horses), through woodland and over common ground. Paths are good, but can be quite muddy in woodland where well used.
Parking in the public car park at last check is £2.80 for 4 hours (pay by card or app - no cash), or you can try the community centre car park on the A413 towards Chalfont St Giles, about 5 mins walk to the start point.
Lunch will be at the Greyhound Pub in CSP for anyone wishing to stay. Please note: PRE ORDERS ARE NOT BEING TAKEN on this occasion.
