Overview

A flat, circular walk of around 5.7 miles, starting and finishing at the Miners' Rest, Chasetown. The walk goes along Anglesey Wharf, the Wyrley & Essington Canal and then onto the Lichfield Greenway into Brownhills. A short walk along the pavemented road allows us to join the Beacon Way into Chasewater. We walk around the lake, leaving at Chasewater Heath Station and onto minor tracks back to the Miners' Rest.

There are good tracks and no stiles. There will be a coffee break at Brownhills West Station. Refreshments in the Miners' Rest after the walk.
