Overview

A walk of around 10 miles starting from Church Pulverbatch. We walk south along the Shropshire Way past Wilderley Hill, then descend into the Golden Valley to follow the stream to Rattlinghope. We then ascend to the Shooting Box on the Long Mynd, continuing past Light Spout into Carding Mill Valley and Church Stretton.

Most people will be familiar with the hills around Church Stretton and the Long Mynd in particular. 'Little Switzerland' may sound grandiose, but these hills have a charm which deserves to be known beyond Shropshire and the Welsh Marches.
