An undulating walk of around 10 miles, giving access to the panoramic scenery of the Shropshire Hills. Starting at Ratlinghope, we follow Darnford Brook, ascending the Golden Valley and onto the Port Way and Long Mynd. From there, the route goes towards Haddon Hill and the Shooting Box. The descent into Church Stretton is down Townbrook Valley, entering the town through Rectory Woods. There are some wonderful views to be experienced along good tracks through open countryside.

Most people will be familiar with the hills around Church Stretton and the Long Mynd in particular. 'Little Switzerland' may sound grandiose, but these hills have a charm which deserves to be known beyond Shropshire and the Welsh Marches.
