Overview

Moderate, fairly level 9 mile walk. Drop out possible after 7 miles at Berrylands station (Zone 5 - trains to Waterloo).

Route: Through Nonsuch Park to Ewell where the Hogsmill River, a chalk stream, is born from a spring. We will then follow the river to Kingston where it goes into the Thames. 

Lunch stop: in Bourne Hall Park where there are benches by the lake - and a café.

Meet at Cheam Station (Zone 5) at 10.16.

Travel: London Bridge 09:41/Mitcham Junction 10:04/Sutton 10:13 - Horsham train -  arr Cheam at 10:16.

Ticket/Fare: Oyster/Contactless/Freedom Pass.

Finish: Kingston Station  (Zone 6 - trains to Clapham Junction and Waterloo).
