NLSH Ramblers is a really friendly group, whose members all share a love of walking and the countryside. You’ll always receive a warm welcome from us, whether you want to walk with us regularly or from time to time.
LB Barnet proposed a recreational "Barnet Loop" for walkers and cyclists in their Local Plan. They have now given details of the proposed loop, which goes from the Welsh Harp in the SW, up the Silkstream to Edgware, then E to join the London Loop, S down the Dollis Valley Greenwalk and back W along the Capital Ring to the Welsh Harp. This walk will follow the proposed path of the route clockwise from Colindale to Totteridge tube stations. If you live in LB Barnet, please come along and try out the route. You can give your own feedback directly on the LB Barnet website or contribute to Ramblers response by giving me your views on the walk.
Open to members and non-members. You can join us at the start, or from Edgware station and hour later (toilets). If you want to do just part of the walk, you can drop out at Burnt Oak, Edgware, A1 north of Apex Corner or High Barnet.
Bring your own refreshments and picnic. We'll stop for a couple of breaks in parks on the way.

Outside Colindale Underground Station. The tube station is closed, but there is a good bus service to Colindale eg the 125 from Southgate, Whetstone, Finchley Central. OR Join us at 11am at the entrance to Edgware Station (2 miles north of Colindale).
