Mainly field paths with lovely views over countryside, and you can even see Canary Wharf on a clear day. See where salad crops are grown and a line of trees that dates back to the Middle Ages. The walk is not too hilly, but wear good footwear as there may be sections where it is uneven and muddy. Please bring a snack and a drink. There are no toilets en route.
Goddington Park. Turn off Court Road opposite the Volvo garage. Bus R7 stops at Saltwood Close or R1 to the end of Charterhouse Road, both near the garage. If for any reason the car park is closed or full, park in side roads on the same side of Court Road as the Volvo garage, with discretion. Please take care crossing Court Road.
