We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is a countryside walk, along Hill Houses Lane, Holden Farm, Gander Down, South Downs to Kilmeston, through Hinton Ampner parkland (National Trust) and back to Cheriton. Well defined paths, through fields and far distant views, woodland. A number of stiles.
This is a picnic walk, please bring lunch, snacks and drinks. Additional drinks and sun cream if the weather is hot.
Poles are advisable if used.
Please let me know if you would like to join my walk, as we may leave early if all known walkers have arrived.
