This linear walk uses the No 69 bus from Winchester to the start, from where we walk back to Winchester via Stoke Park Woods and the River Itchen.
This is a picnic walk. Please bring all refreshments, although purchases MAY be possible at lunchtime.

if parking at Chesil St meeting point, car sharing is adviseable as it will be busy with Christmas shoppers.
Chesil St Car Park (same as finish point. Free on Sundays). I will wait at the vehicle entrance until 0920 for anyone who needs guiding to the Broadway Stand 7 (nearest King Alfred) where the bus leaves at 0930
