We are the Cheshire Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk is dependant upon the weather. Heavy rain a few days before the walk will mean the paths will not be passable and therefore the walk will be cancelled.
If the weather is fine then come and join us to take on 3 of Cheshire's highest peaks in a 13 mile route. Starting at the Tegg's Nose country park car park we will head up onto Tegg's Nose before making our way to Shutlingsloe and finally onto Shining Tor where we will wind through the Macclesfield landscape. The walk encompasses Trentabank and Lamaload Reservoir and spectacular views from all 3 summits.
Car park cost is £3.70 for all day and can be purchased using either coins or card.
There are no large events planned on the date we will be going and therefore a 10am start will be fine.
