Overview

The walk starts in West Lavington and follows the back paths of the village into Littleton Panell and across the fields and up one short hill to the Cheverells. Here after crossing a number of paddocks we come to a steep hills that takes us up to the edge of Salisbury Plain , and on a clear day , some wonderful views of the area. From there we will skirt the edge of the plain and walk up Strawberry Hill from the northern side where the views from the top reward the effort of climbing the hill. From there we descend back to the start via a number of hedged tracks.
