From the Market Place we walk through St. John’s church yard and down some steps. We walk through Hillworth Park and make our way to Drew’s Pond Wood Nature Reserve. We follow good paths through the wood, before ascending to reach field paths leading to the edge of Potterne Woods. We then walk through Stert Valley and pass Sleight Cottages. The route back to Devizes takes us pass Roundway Allotments, Green Lane and Pans Lane. Bring refreshments for one stop.

Meet by fountain in the Market Place, Devizes. Car parking available at various sites, £1.00 charge all day on Sundays.
