Overview

Starting from the lovely village of Chew Magna we will circle round through fields and country lanes to walk along the shores of Chew Valley Lake and back along the River Chew to Chew Magna.  Some amazing views and possibility of mud along the way.

This is a walk we led in January but the weather was terrible and not many people joined us. As it is such a lovely walk we thought we would lead it again in better weather - so fingers crossed the sun shines.

The ground can be quite marshy and muddy in places, depending on recent weather, so if we have had a lot of rain bring sticks to help keep you upright!  There are a couple of pubs in Chew Magna where we can have a drink afterwards.
