Overview

Starting from the lovely village of Chew Magna, only about 30 minutes drive from Kingswood, we will circle round through fields and country lanes to walk along the shores of Chew Valley Lake and back along the River Chew to Chew Magna.  Some amazing views along the way.

We will have a drink afterwards in the Bear and Swan pub.  Some of us are planning to have a Sunday lunch there - if you would like to join us let me know by using the Email Contact link on this page before Sunday 19 October and I will book a table.

We will stop for a break so bring drinks and snacks. Public toilets (and maybe a Mr Whippy ice cream van!) available at Chew Valley Lake, just over half way round.
