A beautiful walk through the Chorleywood House estate and along the Chess Valley to picturesque Chenies with its Elizabethan manor house. Lovely views throughout, across and along the valley. No stiles and a couple of gentle hills. Could be muddy if wet.
Chorleywood House Estate. Leave A404 onto Lady Ella Drive. Go right to the top of Lady Ella Drive and turn left into the parking area. Note if coming from Rickmansworth direction: There are roadworks near M25/A404 junction; consider using Valley Road, Berry Lane & Dog Kennel Lane to avoid these.
