We will meet at the National Trust car park at Watlington Hill. The walk will start by skirting around the Watlington estate and then heading towards Queen Wood. There are some lovely views during this stage of the walk. After skirting two more estates, Turville and Stonor, we will have a picnic lunch at the Warburg nature reserve near Maidengrove, a peaceful and beautiful location. The afternoon will take us back to Watlington Hill via Russell’s Water and Greenfield Wood and Copse.
National Trust members can park without making payment at the Watlington car park but they will have to use their membership card to get a ticket. Non members will have to buy a ticket.
Please bring a picnic lunch.
