This is the Redditch Ramblers annual Christmas Hat walk, you are encouraged to wear the silliest Christmas Hat you can find. The walk starts in Aston Fields taking local paths, country lanes, fields and towpaths. On the way back to Aston Fields there is a stop off at the Cross Public House, Finstall. As well as drinks from the bar you can purchase a Cheese or Ham Cob. If you want a cob it is recommended you order it in advance by sending a Whatsapp to Paul Field (07592305190) by 14th December. The garden room (outdoor but with a heater) has been booked in case the bar is busy. You cannot consume your own food whilst at the Cross. If you prefer not to go to the Cross, it is a straight forward self-guided walk back to the cars at Aston Fields.
