It is nearly the festive season, so what better than a good old Christmas mystery. This mystery is a walk where you are never quite sure where you are going. All you know is that we will be in the West Bridgford area but the route is never revealed in advance. It will involve some road walking but also some paths. On the way, the leader will have some clues for you to solve to reveal the next part of the route. At some points on the walk there will be some treats.
We should be back to the start point before 1:30 pm but if you use a local pay for car park in West Bridgford, please get plenty of parking time just in case we are later.
The walk will be about 5 miles with ascent no more than 100 ft in total. There are no stiles to climb over and all paths are well made. There will be a drink stop, so please bring any drinks or snacks with you.
There is no need to book for the walk, just turn up on the day. Please arrive a few minutes before the start time to allow for introductions and a briefing.
After the walk, you have the opportunity to sample the best that West Bridgford centre has to offer for food and drink.
Public transport - a frequent service of buses call nearby, serving a variety of destinations. Please check online for details
Car parking - there are several pay for car parks in the area. Please note that most local streets to the library are metered or restricted.
