Overview

A watery start to this 8.5 mile circular ramble from Church Wilne , initially following the river Derwent to its mouth, then following the river Trent to Sawley locks, then trent lock , with a mixed route back to the start. Lunch and Refreshments at Trent Lock. two pubs, one cafe, toilets. toilet break also available in Sawley if necessary ( on the way back). 1.5m of road walking.
