Overview

An enjoyable walk through meadows and woods in the heart of Needwood Forest, using some of the rights of way recently improved by East Staffs Ramblers footpath group.

From Rangemore we pass the village church before traversing fields and trees, continuing through the Dingle and up to Lower Linbrook Farm.  We join the National Forest Way, walking first north and then west, crossing the A515 at Newchurch and continuing through the beautiful woods of Jackson's Bank.  We walk a little further on the National Forest Way before turning east through Braken Hurst and Slade Covert eventually coming to the attractive scenery of Yoxall Park which we walk through, rejoining the National Forest Way at Scotch Hills and following it back to our starting point.
