We are the Balerno Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We go up the steps on to the Canal, and continue till we reach Boroughmuir High School. We will stop for a coffee break on the canal as plenty of benches here. From there we walk down to cross over the road and join up at Dalry with the Roseburn Path and we continue part way until we take the steps down on to the Water of Leith, at Roseburn Cliff. We continue our return journey by crossing over and into Roseburn Park, passing the Ice Rink and on to Saughton Park. We will have a lunch stop here and then have a wander through the gardens and out at the other end, continuing on, crossing another main road, and continue with the water on our right until we are back at the start.
