We will walk from Barston village towards Hampton in Arden and then head through Eastcote before joining the canal at Knowle. There is then a pleasant walk across meadows to bring us back to our starting point, the Bulls head pub car park in Barston.
The walk is fairly easy, with gentle inclines and a few stiles. Most of the footpaths are well-trodden. I can shorten the walk if it’s a hot day. The Bulls Head is under new ownership and they offer a lunch menu. They have said that they will struggle to serve food to a large group of people however! But please support the landlord by buying a drink if you can.
The Bulls Head pub is opposite the church. It has a large car park to the rear.
