Overview

You are invited to join a leisurely circular walk in attractive woodlands and countryside of Midlothian.

We start at Edinburgh College in Dalkeith, walking through woodland to descend into Newbattle Estate to join the A7. Passing the Sun Inn we soon turn in to the Lady Lothians Plantation, enjoying a walk through more woodlands to join a minor road to the area of Mayfield. We pass Mayfield Golf Course to walk through Newbattle College Grounds to Maidens Bridge and then walk alongside Newbattle Golf Course on our return to the start point.
