Overview

Meet: by the toilets at Fishers Green P&D car park

w3w: fully.grace.when (some people may park in the Hayes Hill Farm car park). Passing the sailing club then climbing to Coleman’s Shaw to join a cycle track which offers views over Lower Nazeing and takes us down to Clayton Hill Lake. A walk along Payne’s Lane takes us through the ever-growing glass-house industry to go along the northern end of Holyfield Lake via the Kiora Radial Gates to reach the stunning Kings Weir and return along the River Lea Navigation. One 10m section of mud, one steep climb, no stiles. With a pace of less than 2mph the walk will finish by 15.00. A short snack stop.
