Overview

From Kingston station we will walk to Richmond Park and meander North to Richmond Gate.  Here we will descend to the river Thames and follow some little known paths and the tow path back to Kingston Bridge.  There are lots of historical artefacts and to spot along the way, some of which are hidden in plain sight!

We will stop at The Roebuck pub on Kingston Hill for lunch.  There are benches here for eating your packed lunch while enjoying the famous views across London.

There will be a few short climbs and descents.  We will be walking on country paths so these may be muddy in places, especially after rain.  thee are a couple of styles.
