A circular walk from West Marden via Up Marden and Hooksway
Starting point layby at West Marden
Please bring food and drink for the day. I hope to have a pub stop at Hooksway but can't guarantee that.
Parts of the walk are muddy or slippery, but on Friday 13th there were no floods on the route. Footwear with a good grip is needed and if you use hiking poles they will probably be helpful.
This walk is a replacement for a walk at Pagham which I finally had to cancel because of flooding.
I didn't travel along the B2146 past Racton and Walderton but understand that it may be a little wet. It was ok north of West Marden on Friday but please allow some extra time to get to the start.
