Overview

Important note: Pre booking required by latest 7pm the day before. Do not email the walk leader but text or call the number given.

Meet at West Hanger car park (Surrey Wildlife Trust) on Staple Lane for a moderate hike on gently hilly terrain with occasional far reaching views. Late morning coffee stop at a pub in East Clandon then joining the Fox Way and ascending gently through fields, followed by woods, until we reach Old Scotland farm, now the site of the renewed Tillingbourne Brewery. We pause here for a picnic lunch washed down with ale from the source, or a flask of coffee if you have brought it. After lunch it’s only about a mile back to the cars.
