🪧 Please arrive at the National Trust Centre café in Ravenscar at 10:00. From there, we’ll catch the 10:30 bus from Raven Hall to Scarborough. Catching this bus is crucial to join the walk, which starts at 11:30 from Scarborough Station. There are no buses back to Scarborough after the walk, so if you are coming by car, you must park at Ravenscar and take the 10:30 bus.
We begin our walk at Scarborough Station at 11:30, heading north along the Cleveland Way. The route follows the dramatic cliff-top path, offering spectacular coastal views throughout the day. It includes a mix of gentle stretches and some steeper climbs and descents, passing highlights such as Hayburn Wyke and the wooded glades around Staintondale. As we approach Ravenscar, the path levels out again, with sweeping views over the old alum works and across to Robin Hood's Bay.
After the walk finishes in Ravenscar, drivers will find their cars waiting.
