Walk A - (7-8 miles approx) Bourton-on-the-Water is a popular tourist destination set on the banks of the shallow River Windrush which flows through the town in the beautiful Cotswold region of Gloucestershire.
Rambles from here cover an area which typifies the Cotswold landscape of rolling hills, farm fields bounded by dry stone walls with small pockets of woodland scattered amongst the arable and pastureland. Our walks pass through several small idyllic villages set in sheltered valleys famous for their ancient honey coloured stone cottages and some fine houses and churches.
For those who just want to stroll around Bourton there are many attractions, such as a Bird Park, Model Village, Butterfly Museum. The town as a variety of craft, antique shops, restaurants, cafés and pubs and welcomes visitors all the year round.

The coach pick-up point will be on Narborough Road outside the Premier Inn. Parking on Rowley Fields Avenue or in roads off it. Rowley Fields Avenue runs at right-angles to Narborough Road, just north of the Premier Inn, a short walk to the pick up point. There is a charge to park at the Premier Inn.
