A circular walk through the South Downs between Singleton & Cocking, through some great rural countryside, some lovely woodland & of course, some hills!
If the weather is kind, we should be rewarded with some amazing panoramic views across the South Downs & across to Goodwood Racecourse.
This walk has a few moderate hills & one which some may consider strenuous.
The terrain could be boggy/muddy in places & (at the point of recce) there are a number of fallen trees across the paths which will need navigating around - some on a slope.
Poles are recommended for this walk.
Bring refreshments for 2 stops (mid-morning snack stop & lunch).
Dogs on leads welcome with well behaved owners.
There are some fields with livestock.
There is the option of post-walk drinks at the Partridge Inn.
