Overview

From start point in Coed Tynybedw near Pontrhydygroes the route ascends on waymarked forestry trails to a viewpoint.  After descent it goes on N side of Afon Ystwyth past old mine workings & Grogwynion Nature Reserve to cross the river on a footbridge. The return to the start is on forestry tracks & paths.

NRW Forestry car park at Coed Tynybedw, just after the sawmill on the minor road from Pont Llanafan to Pontrhydygroes. Please car share at Council offices car park beforehand if possible because space is limited.
