The walk starts at The Mercury Theatre, alongside the wall at Cladius, Balkerne Gate, CO1 1PT.  A leisurely paced walk around the Roman walls.  After the walk you can extend your stay in Colchester to see the Roman artifacts at the Castle Museum.  Car parking available at Colchester Park & Ride (A12, junction 28) CO4 5JA where there are buses to take us into High Street, close to Jumbo and the Mercury Theatre. Bus fare £3 return.
