We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A moderate 8 mile circular walk in Constable Country starting and ending at Manningtree station. Apart from a gentle hill at the start of the walk the route through the Stour Valley is flat.
Route: from Manningtree station to our lunch stop at Dedham ‐ a picnic lunch is suggested, but there are two pubs and two tearooms one of which is in the Dedham Arts & Crafts Centre and worth a visit. Then to Flatford where, if time allows, we might manage afternoon tea!
