Overview

From Cookham Rise station we head out towards Cookham Bridleway and then on to Pinkneys Green and into Maidenhead Thicket past Robin Hood’s Arbour. We then head to Cookham Dean where we will break for lunch -picnic- at the church. After lunch we head back down past farmland back to our start point.

Circular walk. Picnic lunch. Please bring enough food and water for a summer’s day walk of 11 miles. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct clothing and equipment for this level of walk.

Meet at Cookham Station. The car park is £1.60 however the car park by the shops is not enforced on Sundays so an option, plus some road parking as well.
