A hilly walk from Dorchester West Railway station to Weymouth via the impressive Iron Age Fort at Maiden Castle, then climbing up to the South Dorset Ridgeway with its lovely views over Weymouth Bay before dropping down to Upwey. From there the walk follows one of the Wey Valley walks to Lodmoor Country Park and onwards to Weymouth Esplanade and railway station.
It is expected the pace of the walk will be moderate/strenuous
