York Public Transport Walks
This is a pleasant walk with no steep climbs. We start on a path at the back of the village and then cross fields to Byland Abbey. There is a short section along the road before we take a path across the fields back to the abbey through a couple of farms and end on Colley Broach Road back to the village. On the recce we did find a broken stile and had to climb a wooden fence that replaced it.

Catch the X31 at 10.05 York Station Ave or 10.10 at Exhibition Square. Arrive at Coxwold 10.50.
Return bus 16-25 from Coxwold to Easingwold where we change to no 30 at 16.50 back to York. There is a cafe at Coxwold if time allows before the bus arrives.
