We start from the layby at the side of B976 at access gate to Loch Ullachie. The route is mainly along forest paths and tracks across moorland and some on landrover track. There can be some short sections off path.
Note the first half of the walk is a steady uphill, with the second half being a return, downhill, along the same route.
The route is quite muddy in places so gaiters are recommended.
