Time: 1 hour
Ascent: 137m

There will be an opportunity to car share, with members meeting at Lorne Street Car park in Lochgilphead at 09:30, who will then drive to the start point at the Crinan Hotel.
There is definitely a need for walking sticks and if the weather is too wet on the day an alternative walk along the canal will be considered. Going up and down the steps dogs should be on a lead, so as not to get under the feet of those walking up and down the steep stone steps. There is a bench at the view point for a rest. As this is a relatively short walk there will be no lunch stop.
There is a public toilet near to the Crinan Basin car park.
