We are the Carlisle Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting in the small village of Croglin, we head up onto the edge of Newbiggin Fell where (weather permitting) we'll get nice views over to Carlisle and beyond. We stop for our packed lunches in Newbiggin village before continuing back to Croglin along quiet footpaths and country lanes.

There are no facilities on the route, so please bring your own refreshments. There is free on-street parking by St John the Baptist Church in Croglin (down the road off of the B6413, opposite The Robin Hood Inn), which is where the walk starts. Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a lead throughout the walk.
Meeting point is at the start point, on the street by St John the Baptist Church in Croglin.
