This is a lovely coastal circuit, taking us through the picturesque village of Cromarty and and leading us across the headland, towards a steep decline down to some big rock formations which we will go down to if the weather and ground surface permits. We'll then climb back up and follow the coast around, walking through woodlands and fields, until we get back to Cromarty. The walk will more or less follow the Cromarty coastal circuit on walkhighlands.co.uk.
Bring a drink and snack for a stop by the rock formations. There may be the option of a cafe stop afterwards, though people are free to head home before this if they would prefer.
Sign up by contacting the walk leader by 7pm the day before at the latest.
If you intend to drive to the walk and are willing to offer lifts from Inverness, please let the walk leader know when you sign up. If you want to car share, please inform the walk leader as well. Please be prepared to contribute towards petrol costs.
