Spitewinter - Holymoorside - Chanderhill - Old Brampton - Linacre Reservoirs - Oxton Rakes - Rumbling Street - Johnnygate - Millthorpe - Holmesfield - Totley
Mainly on decent footpaths through fields and woodland with the odd short sections on road. Following recent weather footpaths will be muddy, especially through fields with animals in, so gaiters will be highly recommended. It is quite an undulating route with the biggest climb coming late in the day up to Holmesfield Church. On a clear day the rewards for walking in this area are the extensive varied views.
Catch the 8.39 X17 Matlock bus from Sheffield Interchange to Spitewinter.
Leader will pick the bus up at Meadowhead.
Please note there are no public toilets anywhere on route.
