We are a friendly, socially active Ramblers Group welcoming all who enjoy walking. Our walks programme is extensive and varied covering all days of the week.

We will walk through Crystal Palace Park, then along two separate sections of the disused Crystal Palace railway (with sight of two tunnels), then through Sydenham Hill Wood, Dawson's Hill Park (with views of Central London), passing through Camberwell Old Cemetery and Peckham Rye Park, and finally the atmospheric Nunhead Cemetery. The walk is a mix of varied landscapes on (mainly) quiet streets, parks, woodland and cemeteries. Ascent 82 metres, Descent 134 metres. Pub/picnic. Book a place on the walk by 18.00 hrs on 4th November, and for a pub lunch if desired (text only please). Places limited to 18.
Meet walk leader at 10.25 for the 10.28 train, on platform 15 at Clapham Junction station, at the foot of the stairs down from the footbridge.
Alternatively meet walk leader at the entrance to Crystal Palace station at 10.50. (there is a suitable train from Sutton at 09.56 to West Croydon, then change to 10.25 to Crystal Palace).
