Overview

Having tackled Culter Fell last year from the Glenholm side, this time it is from the Coulter side. The walk starts at Culter Allers Farm. After following a farm track, the ascent starts by following a path over moorland, passing by The Bracs and Tippet Knowe, eventually arriving at the trig point at the top of Culter Fell. The descent starts with a gentle slope to the old grouse shooting butts, followed by a steep section back down to the road.

Although challenging, this is a great walk with some wonderful views from the summit.
