A circular walk in the western edge of the Pentland Hills. Starting in Currie, we make our way to Harlaw Reservoir via Poet's Glen, Whiteside Plantation, and Maiden Cleugh. We pass along Black Spring Reservoir and Threipmuir Reservoir to return via Harlaw Road to Lymphoy to end the walk at Currie Kirk for coffee/ tea and home baking. Please remember to bring cash if you wish to join us there.
If you would like to join us, please contact the Walk Leader to book a place in advance, noting that for some walks places may be limited. Please advise the walk leader of any issue that may affect your ability to complete the walk.
Please remember to bring your ICE card with you; or, if you don’t have one, a note of your proposed emergency contact name and number will be required in case of emergency.
As conditions underfoot can vary, stout walking shoes/ boots, gaiters and walking poles, if you use them, are recommended.
Please note that, unfortunately, dogs are not welcome on our walks.
