Overview

We will make use of the Daffodil Line bus service to travel to Gorsley, then  climb to Linton Ridge and Church before descending to the tranquil Hartleton Water. The morning walk finishes at the Weston Cross in Weston under Penyard.  Stagecoach buses return to Ross-on -Wye at 12.36  and hourly , providing the option to enjoy refreshments at the Public House prior to taking the bus back to the start.

Those walking all day will return to Ross via woodland and viewpoints on Penyard Hill.

Bring plenty to drink and snacks. If walking 9 miles bring a packed lunch.

Bring bus pass or money for fares (£2 per ride).

Only assistance dogs.

Choice of 5 or 9 miles.
