Overview

The morning walk goes south along the Monnow climbing through woodland and returning on pastureland. The walk is 5.5 miles long and ascends 725 ft.

Lunch is at Skenfrith castle.

In the afternoon the walk goes north to White House Farm and returns along Black Brook.
