Overview

From Hay on Wye we cross fields to the church at Cusop & then start our ascent onto Cusop Hill. After a break & a short road walk we head up through forestry onto Cefn Hill with hopefully views to the south & west before descending to the priory (Grandmontine) for lunch. Another steady climb & short road walk to fields & then the Three Rivers Ride to 'open' land with a final climb to Hay Bluff 677M. We descend by a well made path to the road & then follow Offa's Dyke Path back to Hay.

On a fine day there are good views available. Part of this walk is on exposed mountain so can be inhospitable in poor weather! Some rough walking underfoot on 'open' land.
