We are Herts Weekend Walkers, HWW for Short . We are aimed at people who are normally working during the week and can usually only find time to get outside and enjoy a walk at the weekend.

We meet outside the Cricketers PH in Damask Green Road SG4 7DA. We head in the direction of the Cricket Ground taking the path through the grounds of Park Lodge before turning right and picking up the path in the direction of Manor Farm. We continue in the same direction passing between Chesfield Park and Ten Acre Plantation before circum navigating our way around Graveley Bury and the Parish Church. We then take the long path back up the hill in the direction of How Wood before arriving back at the Cricketers for well earned refreshments.
Additional Notes: The walk will commence promptly at 1.30pm, following a short briefing. Dogs are welcome, and there are no stiles on this walk. Please park with consideration around Weston and Damask Green, additional parking could possibly be found in the Weston Industrial Park near the Red Lion.
There is no need to pre-book or contact the leader in advance. If already a Ramblers member, please bring your Ramblers card (or membership details on the app) as we submit a register to Ramblers before we start the walk. Totally new members are allowed to come on up to three walks before joining
